The HERS Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency and performance is measured. A score of 100 indicates a new house is built to code. Providence Homes averages a 52.7 HERS Index based upon 324 closings in 2020 – 2021. The lower the HERS score, the more efficient the home is!
