This week, we want to introduce you to Don Hamilton, a man who has a wealth of experience in many different fields, and has brought it all with him to Providence Homes! As a Supervisor, Don’s role is to oversee the building of each home. “I think the most exciting thing about being a part of Providence Homes is also the most challenging. When it comes down to it, my job is to delight each buyer throughout the process, to make sure that they are pleased with their decision to select Providence Homes to build their home.” Since graduating from college, Don has worked in a variety of fields, including as a teacher and coach in the public school system. “I have worked in the construction industry for the last eighteen years in various positions, including as a residential contractor.“ One of the things I love most about my job is the actual process of building a house. But, it can also be daunting because there are so many moving parts. I love a challenge!” Don’s competitive streak probably explains his love of sports! “I have always enjoyed participating and watching sports. Now I play a lot of tennis… mostly mixed doubles with my wife.” In fact, attending a tennis grand slam event at Wimbledon or the U.S. Open is on Don’s bucket list. As is visiting Scotland. (Don, see if you can track down Andy Murray for a match when you’re in Scotland!) What’s Don’t greatest personal achievement? “I have been married to my wonderful wife, Judy, for 41 years. We have four children, three of them married, and we have six grandchildren. God has blessed me beyond measure with the people in my life!”
